Exploring the Trim levels of the Chevy Silverado 1500
A comparison of trim levels for the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500
The Chevy Silverado 1500 didn't become one of the most popular full-size pickups in the world by accident. It's taken years of hard work by Chevy designers and engineers to reach such a high level of enthusiasm among truck drivers. For 2025, the Silverado continues to offer the same wide range of trims, engines and configurations that begin with the hardworking WT Work Truck model and move up to the top-tier High Country. Here's a look at the trim levels in the new 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 at Chevrolet of Bloomsburg in Bloomsburg, PA.

The new Silverado WT Work Truck comes with a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that gives Muncy and Hazleton buyers 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The WT is the only Silverado trim that offers a regular cab that's available with either a standard or a long bed. You can also get a double cab standard bed or a crew cab with either a standard or a short bed. Four-wheel drive is an available option in the WT and across all Silverado models.

The Custom trim has more standard features than the WT but simpler cab and powertrain choices. It's available exclusively with a 2.7-liter engine and either a double cab or a crew cab. The Custom trim gives you an EZ Lift tailgate, an upgraded suspension system, cruise control and cloth seats. It also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, a trailering package and remote start. The Custom model offers a ten-way power adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar support and two 120-volt outlets, one in the cabin and one in the bed.

The LT Model introduces you to a nicer interior and offers more features. Customers from Danville and Berwick can choose a V8 or a 3.0-liter Duramax® diesel engine with a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds. The dashboard comes with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster alongside an even bigger 13.4-inch color infotainment touch screen. Wireless smartphone connectivity is another nice standard LT feature. In the back, you can choose either a power tailgate or a versatile six-function Multi-Flex tailgate.

The RST trim builds on the LT model giving you the full range of available Silverado 1500 engines including Chevy's 6.2-liter V8 and the muscular 3.0-liter Duramax® diesel. The RST offers a standard 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine on double cab versions and the crew cab comes equipped with the 5.3-liter V8. The RST adds LED fog lamps, LED taillights and a 3.23 to 1 rear axle ratio. RST buyers can upgrade to a Bose stereo system with seven speakers.

The LTZ takes the Silverado into more luxurious territory. The front passenger will enjoy a 10-way power-adjustable seat with lumbar support and the driver gets memory settings. LTZ buyers also get a power sunroof, heated powered trailering mirrors, hitch guidance and a revised suspension system. The LTZ is available only as a crew cab and comes with a standard 5.3-liter V8. Four-wheel drive models can be upgraded to the 6.2-liter Silverado V8 engine.

The Chevy ZR2 model is the most off-road capable Silverado 1500 trim. It's equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, a two-speed transfer case and Multimatic spool-valve shock absorbers. Front and rear e-locker differentials give you more control on low-speed off-road terrain and hill-descent control helps reduce the need for your brake pedal on steep slopes. The ZR2's Terrain Mode with one-pedal rock crawling is for more aggressive off-roading and so are mud-terrain tires. Millville drivers will get skid plates protecting the front end, oil pan and transfer case.

The High Country is the most upscale version of the Chevy Silverado 1500. It's available exclusively in a crew cab body style and, with the standard bed, comes only with four-wheel drive. The 5.3-liter V8 is the standard engine and you can move up to the 3.0-liter Duramax® diesel or the 6.2-liter V8. The High Country has special upgrades like hitch guidance with Hitch View, 20-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires and a camera that gives you a view of the truck bed.
